The Sims Pets has more of the classic gameplay of the sims than the regular Sims for psp. Its graphics are amazing and it is fun to play but has many downsides. The load times are annoying but i really didn't notice them much until i read so many reviews complaining about them so they dont bother me. They do interrupt with the flow of the game and will often start loading in the middle of walking or doing anything as well as going from screen to screen. Another downside is that the pets are really ugly and not very cute at all. Plus you can only have a dog or cat, fish, or hamster thing that just sits in its cage and you have to feed. You cannot play the animals which is something i did not know or expect. Another issue is that you cannot build walls or anything which i really hate because you start out with a house with only a separate bathroom and your bed is in the middle so the phone always wakes you up. To change this you have to get enough aspiration points and change your layout. The pets are more of a bother than anything. But i really love the sims and the gameplay is super fun. The issues are what i should have expected for a good portable game.

All in all i recommend this game with problems and all for any Sim fan.

-pets are ugly
-customization items for people and pets are limited
-can't built walls
-limited amount of pets
-load times are slow
-pets can be annoying

THIS GAME IS FUN. THESE PETS DEF. HAVE A MIND OF THEIR OWN. I DON'T KNOW WHO TAUGHT THEM HOW TO PEE ON THE CARPET BUT WHATEVER... LOL -- I HOPE YOU'RE PATIENT
Ok, I am not a true Sims fan so I may be a bit biased when it comes to this game. I find it to be a bit on the boring side. I may have to continue playing around with it and see what "new features" I encounter along the way. If anyone can offer suggestions on game play, please inform. -- Uh....I may need some help with this one
